Govt directs DGP for investigation on ADGP Ajith Kumar-RSS leaders meeting

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An investigation has been ordered against ADGP M R Ajith Kumar, who called on the RSS leaders. The government has directed DGP Sheikh Darvesh Sahib to investigate the matter.

The investigation was ordered twenty days after the allegations were raised. The investigation team will also record the statements of those who met the RSS leaders along with the ADGP.

The special branch report that ADGP met RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale and RSS leader Ram Madhav had come out earlier. The report said the ADGP met Ram Madhav, also the former general secretary of the BJP, twice. It is also reported that the meeting took place at a hotel in Kovalam.

Apart from this, Left MLA P V Anwar had alleged that M R Ajith Kumar messed up Thrissur Pooram for Suresh Gopi’s win in the last Lok Sabha elections. The special branch report also mentioned that Ajith Kumar was active in Thrissur and Guruvayur on matters related to the marriage of Suresh Gopi's daughter.
