Malayali nurse collapses, dies during work in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH: A Malayali nurse, while on duty collapsed and died in Saudi Arabia. Vayalur, Nellayi native Delma Dilip (26 ), daughter of Dilip and Leena Dilip, died in the incident. Delma was working as a staff nurse at Mouwasat Hospital in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.

Colleagues say that Delma Dilip collapsed at the hospital while on duty. She was immediately rushed to the emergency section. Delma was soon shifted to a ventilator but her life could not be saved. Reports pointed to a heart attack as the cause of death. Denna Anthony is Delma's sister.
