MALAPPURAM: Albeit valiant efforts to unearth serious allegations against ADGP, Nilambur MLA P V Anvar was left in the gloom with CPM not favouring any action against the police officer. It was too much to bear for Anvar as now rumours suggest that the independent MLA will soon tender his resignation and move away from LDF.
The MLA gave a sly hint at an inauguration ceremony of the building and protective fence of the forest department in Nilambur. PV Anwar hinted at his resignation in the presence of the Forest Minister.
P V ANVAR:
"Convenience of officers is a basic requirement. But don't be extravagant. While building a new range office, the old one can be converted into a rest room. There was no need to build another one. A person who went to complain of elephant trespassing in his house received a bad experience. The forest officer scoffed at him saying 'Why worry because you will eventually get Rs 10 lakhs'. (death compensation for wild animal attacks).
All these things will happen only in Kerala. I am saying this now because the minister is here. I don’t know whether I will get a chance to speak again in the assembly.”
In Malappuram, PV Anvar said he had lost 1000 per cent faith in CPM. "Movements are underway to impeach me in the allegations I have raised. I surrendered to the party when they promised to look into the allegations. The party should investigate the allegations against the chief minister's political secretary. But nothing is happening. Will tell everything to media today evening” said Anvar.
