Helicopter rescues car crash victim in dramatic roadside operation in Ras Al Khaimah

ABU DHABI: A dramatic helicopter rescue unfolded in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, when a victim of a severe car accident was airlifted from the middle of the road. Footage of the operation, carried out by the UAE Home Department, has gone viral on social media.

The video shows the aftermath of the accident, with the car completely destroyed. The helicopter lands on the road as rescue workers rush to the scene, quickly transferring the injured victim into the aircraft. The person was then flown to a hospital for urgent medical care.

This follows a recent similar incident where a shipwreck victim was rescued by helicopter after their vessel crashed while crossing the UAE's sea border. The crew was airlifted to safety and taken to a hospital.

In another recent rescue in Ras Al Khaimah, a tourist suffering from health issues was saved from a height of 3,700 feet in the mountains. After a 40-minute search, the traveler was located and airlifted to safety.
