POCSO accused swallows blade while being taken to court

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, an accused in a POCSO case swallowed a blade while being taken to court. The accused, named Sumesh, swallowed the blade while being taken to court from Poojappura Central Jail. The incident occurred en route to the court in Kollam.

It was Sumesh himself who informed the police that he had swallowed the blade. Following this, the police immediately rushed him to the Medical College Hospital.
