Man orders iPhone with CoD, kills delivery agent while attempting to deliver product

LUCKNOW: A delivery agent, who came to deliver the iPhone ordered was killed. The brutal murder happened at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh. The dead is Bharat Sahu (30) of Nishatganj.

The incident happened on September 23. Gajanan of Lucknow ordered an iPhone worth Rs 1.5 lakh. Cash on delivery option was given for payment. Bharat, who came to deliver the iPhone, was strangled to death by Gajanan and his friend Akash, and the body was dumped into the Indira Canal.

When Sahu did not return home for two days, his family lodged a missing complaint at the Chinhat police station on September 25. While examining Sahu’s call details, police found Gajanan's number and managed to reach his friend Akash at the end of the investigation. DCP informed that Akash confessed to the crime during interrogation. However, the body of Bharat has not been found yet. The DCP stated that the State Disaster Response Force is trying to find Bharat's body.
