Brothers die of electric shock while fishing; Wild pig also found dead nearby

KOCHI: Two brothers lost their lives while fishing in Kundanur Cheerambathur, after reportedly hitting an electric trap set to catch a wild pig. The deceased have been identified as Ravi Nair (55) and Aravindakshan (52).

The brothers went fishing last night and their bodies were discovered after a search was initiated by relatives and local residents. Nearby, a dead wild pig was also found, alongside the deceased brothers' catch, which was similarly lifeless.

Authorities are investigating the incident, as it remains unclear who set the electric trap. The Cheruthuruthi police have arrived at the scene and have launched an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
