THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPI State Secretary Binoy Viswam has once again emphasized that ADGP Ajithkumar is unfit to hold his current position. He stated that there is no need for repeated questioning of the CPI's stance, reaffirming that both the CPI and the LDF maintain a unified position on the matter.

He expressed confidence that the government will take appropriate action based on the forthcoming report regarding Ajithkumar's alleged meeting with RSS leaders. "There is no change in our position that the ADGP should be replaced," Viswam said, noting that even Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has indicated that the report will soon be made public.

Binoy Viswam added that the CPI is keen to review the report, as there is widespread curiosity about its contents. He further expressed his belief that the LDF government will adopt a clear stance once the report is reviewed.

Addressing rumours of internal differences, he noted that CPI and CPM secretaries communicate regularly, often via phone, to discuss party matters. He reiterated that the CPI is a democratic party where committee platforms serve as avenues for discussion.
