THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Public Service Commission's LD Clerk exam has been embroiled in controversy after the question paper for Ernakulam and Malappuram districts was mysteriously uploaded to the official PSC website a day before the exam. The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear, fueling suspicions of a possible question paper leak.
The website features question paper number 133/2024 M with 100 questions. The upload timestamp reads '1 day ago', indicating it was uploaded on Friday evening. Shockingly, the same question paper was distributed to candidates during the exam on Saturday. The question paper was uploaded as a PDF file on the official Kerala PSC website www.keralapsc.gov.in, featuring the commission's logo. Publishing the exam question paper on the website a day before the exam is a grave issue. With the questions and options being identical, those who accessed the paper early could easily score full marks.
The question paper uploaded on the website matches the 'A' code paper exactly. Normally, answer keys are released after exams, but this incident involves the full question paper being available beforehand, with no clear explanation. It was found that the PDF file containing 100 questions was published on the PSC website a day ago when some students checked the internet using Google Lens to find the correct answers to the questions after the exam.
Meanwhile, the PSC has launched an investigation into the appearance of the question paper on the official website.
