October 7, 2023 – The day that sparked war in the Middle East. That was the day Hamas fighters in Palestine launched a surprise strike in Israel. Today is the first anniversary of the attack that shocked Israel.

That day, thousands of Hamas rockets from Gaza landed in Israel as a torrent. Hamas fighters stormed in. More than 1,200 Israelis were killed and more than 200 Israelis were taken hostage.

The destruction that Israel began in Gaza then continues to this day. More than 40,000 innocent people were killed. 20 million people are on the streets. Gaza became a ghost land.

Arab countries such as Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq came out openly and in hiding in support of Hamas. Arab groups such as the Houthis and Hezbollah are engaged in an open war against Israel. Israel is attacking all these countries. Israel is at war with Hezbollah in Lebanon. In the meantime, Iran attacked Israel. Israel can retaliate at any moment. Even the United Nations cannot do anything to avert the war that has gripped the Middle East. Only the words of world leaders remain.

US President Joe Biden: We need a two-state solution. Israel needs security. The Palestinians also want their own nation.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas: Palestine and Israel must exist as two states.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: We are facing enemies who want to annihilate Israel. We will achieve complete success.
