CANBERRA: A sudden technical glitch inside airlines took many passengers by surprise as adult movies started playing on their screens involuntarily. The incident took place on a Qantas flight (QF59) from Sydney, Australia to Haneda, Japan. An R-rated movie was played on all screens which left many perturbed since there were not even options to turn off or pause the playing.

In Australia, R-rated movies are strictly allowed only for people above 18. The flight to Japan had many child passengers, thus aggravating the concern.

“The film could not be paused or turned off. The film had extremely explicit scenes not fit for viewing among children. It took almost one hour to solve the issue.’ One passenger wrote on social media.

Qantas apologized for the incident and assured not to allow such egregious incidents to happen again. It was Dakota Johnson’s famous movie ‘Daddio’ that played across the screens inviting wrath from passengers. The movie has sexually explicit scenes, exposed genitals and graphic nudity.
