Bomb threat on two Gulf-bound IndiGo flights, search continues

MUMBAI: IndiGo airlines received bomb threats for two Gulf-bound flights, prompting immediate security actions. A spokesperson for the airline confirmed that threats were made against flight 6E1275, scheduled to depart from Mumbai to Muscat and flight 6E56, en route to Jeddah. Both planes were moved to secure locations and necessary security protocols are underway, officials reported.

A few hours ago, there was a bomb threat on an Air India flight from Mumbai to New York. With this, the plane made an emergency landing at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. The authorities informed that the passengers are safe and further checks are underway.

The flight took off from Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport at two o'clock in the morning today. The message about the bomb threat was received shortly after the flight took off. Due to this, the plane landed in Delhi. According to the police, there were 239 passengers on board. The bomb threat message was received through a post on X. An Air India spokesperson said that all measures are being taken to ensure the safety of passengers and staff.
