'He was a pillar of strength for us', Divya S Iyer shares heartfelt note about Naveen Babu

PATHANAMTHITTA: Divya S Iyer IAS has shared a heartfelt note on social media about ADM Naveen Babu, who was found dead shortly after being publicly criticized by CPM Kannu District Committee member P P Divya during a farewell ceremony. Reflecting on their time working together, she recalled his dedication and support in every circumstance.

It's hard to believe, Naveen is no longer with us.

In this picture, taken during his time as Tehsildar in Ranni, Pathanamthitta, you can see Hon'ble Revenue Minister K. Rajan and Ranni MLA Pramod Narayanan. In the first photo, Naveen is standing behind me on the right, wearing a light green shirt and a mask. In the second picture, the Revenue minister is writing a note of appreciation in the visitor's book while Naveen, in a pink shirt and mask, stands behind me.

Naveen's dedication as Tehsildar in Ranni was always a pillar of strength for us. No matter the hour, he was always active, discreet and gentle—just like in these photos. When I think about how he’s gone forever, it’s hard to find the words.

I visited Naveen’s home when his mother passed away. That day, I saw the depth of his respect and love for her. Words fall short when trying to comfort Manjusha and the children but we stand beside them in their grief.
