Hyundai i10 Nios offered to Lord Ayyappa, keys handed over

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Hyundai i10 Nios has been offered to Lord Ayyappa in Sabarimala. Keshwin Hyundai presented the car as an offering to Lord Ayyappa.

MD Uday Kumar Reddy handed over the keys of the car to Sabarimala Executive Officer Murari Babu. Executive director Chandan, CEO Sanjulal Raveendran and Sabarimala administrative officer Biju V Nath were present on the occasion.

Mahindra Group had offered their vehicle to the Guruvayur temple in December 2021. The new generation SUV Thar, which has become a wave in the automobile market, was dedicated to Guruvayoorappan. It was limited edition with red color diesel option. It is an SUV that is in good demand in the market due to its attractive color.

Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, a leading automobile manufacturer, donated the vehicle to the Guruvayur temple. The car is priced between Rs 13 to 18 lakhs in the market. The engine is 2200 cc. Mahindra & Mahindra, the country's leading domestic automaker, launched the new Thar SUV in the market on October 2 in 2020. This vehicle was later auctioned by the temple.
