MULTAN: Over three and a half years of humiliation has finally been resolved. Pakistan had won a Test on home soil. The spin balls hit by 38-year-old Nauman Ali and Sajid Khan really confused the England batsmen. Pakistan won by 152 runs.

Pakistan team was bowled out for 221 in the second innings, leaving England with a relatively manageable target of 297 runs. The England team, who are the champions of the baseball game, could not show that prowess on the pitch in Multan on the fourth day. Left-arm spinner Nauman Ali's deliveries have literally troubled England. Only skipper Ben Stokes (37 off 36 balls) could hold on. Brydon Kars scored 27 runs and got out. Both were dismissed by Nauman Ali. Ollie Pope scored 22 runs. England batsmen were all out for 144 after batting a total of 33 overs. Nauman conceded 46 runs and took eight wickets. Sajid Khan conceded 93 runs and took two wickets.

Sajid Khan, who took seven wickets in the first innings and two in the second innings for a total of nine wickets, was selected as the player of the match. With the win, Pakistan leveled the three-match series at 1-1. Pakistan won a Test at home in 2021. In the last series against Bangladesh, Pakistan lost 2-0.
