NEW DELHI: Several Malayalam films, including Aadujeevitham, Bhramayugam, Level Cross (Indian Panorama) and Manjummal Boys (Mainstream), will be screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa next month. The festival will kick off with the opening film 'Swarthy Veer Savarkar' (Hindi), directed by Randeep Hooda.
A total of 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films will be showcased during the event. The non-feature opening film is 'Ghar Jaisa Kuch' (Ladaki), directed by Harsh Sangani.
The Feature Film Jury for IFFI 2024 is chaired by renowned film director, actor and screenwriter Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi. Established in 1952, IFFI is one of Asia's most significant film festivals, celebrating cinematic excellence and providing a platform for filmmakers from around the globe. The festival aims to promote films that inspire and engage audiences, while fostering an appreciation for the art of cinema.
