Links with Baba Siddique's killers, Rs 10 lakh reward announced for information on Lawrence Bishnoi's brother

MUMBAI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh for information about Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Police said that Anmol Bishnoi was associated with the killers of former Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Baba Siddique. Anmol Bishnoi had also sent the picture of Baba Siddique's son Zeeshan Siddique to the accused via Snapchat.

On October 12, Siddique was attacked near his son's office. Three people shot at him. He was rushed to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries. In a Facebook post, a member of the Bishnoi group claimed that Siddique's close relationship with actor Salman Khan was the reason behind his murder and that he had connections with underworld figures like Dawood Ibrahim.

Anmol Bishnoi is an accused in 18 cases. He left the country on a fake passport and was found in Kenya last year and Canada this year. Mumbai Police had issued a lookout notice against Anmol Bishnoi in connection with the shooting outside Salman Khan's residence on April 14. He is said to be involved in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musa Wala in 2022.
