Soldier martyred in Army vehicle accident in Kulgam, eight injured

SRINAGAR: A soldier died in an accident where an army vehicle overturned. The accident took place last night on the Damhal Hanjipora road in Kashmir's Kulgam district. Eight soldiers in the vehicle were injured. The army informed that they have been shifted to the hospital and their health condition is satisfactory.

On October 24, a terrorist attack targeted an army vehicle in the Bota Patri area near the Line of Control in Kashmir's Gulmarg sector. Two soldiers were martyred and two locals were killed in the terrorist attack. Three soldiers were injured. Riflemen Qaiser Ahmed Shah and Jeevan Singh were martyred. Mushtaq Chaudhary and Zahoor Ahmed Mir, who were killed in the terrorist attack, were porters.

The defense spokesperson has informed that Pakistani terrorists are behind the attack. The defense spokesperson stated that the attack was aimed at disrupting the peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir and instilling fear in the local residents.
