'Happy Diwali friends....'; Arjun Kapoor confirms split with Malaika Arora

Bollywood stars Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were fodder for Page 3 columnists over the years. Since their initial days of dating in 2018, much ink has been spilt writing about the furtive rendezvous the two often engaged. Despite being in a relationship for over six years, the two made it a pact to never make their relationship public.

And now amidst news about break up, Arjun Kapoor broke the silence over the issue. He also attended the Diwali celebrations hosted by NMS leader Raj Thackeray at Mumbai's Shivaji Park on Monday. While responding to the media, Arjun laughed and revealed his current status.

“I am single now. You relax. Happy Diwali to everyone” said Arjun. This video has also gone viral on social media. Malaika Arora is 11 years older than Arjun, and it is the same fact that created countless fictions, humiliations and criticism targeting the duo.

Malaika was first married to actor Arbaaz Khan in 1998. The couple divorced in 2017 after 19 years of marriage. Rumours started surfacing in 2024 after Malaika failed to attend Arjun’s birthday bash in June, which she never missed in earlier years.
