Woman killed, many injured in private bus-lorry collision in Kochi

KOCHI: A woman, who sustained serious injuries in the accident that happened in the collision between a private bus and a taurus lorry, has succumbed to it. She was immediately rushed to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. The accident happened Wednesday morning on Seaport Road in Kakkanad. Witnesses said the bus was over-speeded.

Many passengers including school students sustained injuries in the accident. They have been admitted to a private hospital in Kakkanad. The bus that met with the accident was going to Ernakulam from Pukkattupady. The woman has not been identified.
