Govt to bear expenses of people injured in Neeleswaram fireworks accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government will bear the expenses of the people injured in the fireworks accident at Neeleswaram in Kasargod. The decision was taken in the cabinet meet that convened here today.

Job under disability act
LP School Assistant Sandhya Rani of Venganur Govt Model HSS, who sustained serious injuries in an accident, will be allowed to continue in service after creating a supernumerary post under the disability act. The supernumerary post of LP School Assistant will be created in Venganur Government Model HSS from 19.12.2023 from the date of disability till the date of eligibility or retirement from service whichever is earlier.

Stamp price waived
Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation Limited has waived the stamp duty required for registration of lease deed of 2.75 acres of land at Thoppumpadi Village, Kochi Taluk, leased from Cochin Port Authority for a period of 30 years from 01.01.2012.

Permission granted
As a part of drinking water project in Kozhikode Thuneri Village, a quoted contract has been approved for replacing the existing 200 mm AC gravity main from Nadapuram Junction to Kakkamvellikunnu GLSR and installing 200 mm DIK 9 pipe.

Approves tender
Tender submitted for BM&BC to YMCA road work in Eravipuram Constituency has been accepted. Tender for water resources works included in Part 1 Package 2 with KIIFB assistance in Angamaly Constituency has been approved.
