'Marrying again without taking care of children.... there will be trolls'

Actors Divya Sreedhar and Kris Venugopal married in an intimate ceremony at Guruvayur on Wednesday. This is Divya's second marriage. She has two children from her first marriage, and both attended today’s marriage ceremony.

Divya Sreedhar:

“I have experienced many things in life and from my intuition I think the marriage will be trolled by many on social media. They will chide me for marrying once again not even taking care of my children. The narrative will go in such a demeaning way. However, many supported me and I can’t thank them enough.”

Kris Venugopal:

“If people are ready with trolls, I have nothing but best wishes for them. If they are not ready to troll us, I will be even more happier. And to the audience, I just want to say that everyone has a personal life and this is ours and we are just sharing it with you. Normally, for any wedding in Guruvayur, there won’t be much rush or media coverage. But today we are witnessing big media presence and support. It is because we are loved by people.”
