Body of 50-year-old woman chopped into six pieces, buried in friend’s house

JODHPUR: A 50-year-old woman reported missing, was found chopped into six pieces and buried in her friend’s house. The dead is Anita Chaudhary of Jodhpur. Her body chopped into pieces was found the other day. She was murdered by her old family friend. Anita was running a beauty parlour in Jodhpur.

Anita closed her parlour in the afternoon on October 27 at around 2.30 pm. As she did not return home that night, her husband Manmohan Chaudhary (56) filed a missing complaint. Her mobile location and call details directed the police to the house of Gul Mohammad. She considered him as a brother, said the police.

While interrogating Gul Mohammad’s wife, she revealed that she was buried behind her house. Her body was recovered in six pieces. Her body has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem. Police said the accused is absconding and his wife has been taken into custody.
