Man dies while trying to operate excavator in operator’s absence

KOTTAYAM: A man, who tried to operate an excavator in the absence of the operator, had a tragic end. The dead is Paul Joseph of Payappar in Kottayam. The machine losing control rammed into a tree. Paul tried to drive the Hitachi when the operator went to drink water. The excavator hit the mud piled up and then rammed into the tree. He died on the spot itself. The initial conclusion of the police is that the accident happened due to his careless approach.
