THRISSUR: BJP Thrissur state president KK Aneeshkumar blamed Tirur Satheesh for exacting revenge on BJP for expelling him from the party for dubious financial dealings. Aneesh Kumar was responding to media regarding the Kodakara hawala case.
Aneesh alleged CPM for shrewdly picking an estranged Satheesh to throw mud at the BJP following the saffron party’s great progress in the upcoming by-polls.
Aneesh Kumar:
“Satheeshan will say anything for money. It is no surprise that CPM zeroed him for the hatchet job. Satheeshan was ousted from the party following many complaints from workers. If he had these doubts, why didn’t he reveal the news to the media in the last two years? Why did he wait for the by-polls to arrive? People with sane minds will easily understand the devious game at play. We are least bothered about the accusations since it has turned into a new normal for the opposition to bring the Kodakara case before every election. Let them do it again.”
Tirur Satheesh, a witness in the Kodakara case and former secretary of the BJP office, made a crucial revelation in the Kodakara Hawala case. Satheesh revealed that BJP's election funds were brought in the form of hawala money amounting to crores. He said that a room was booked for those who delivered the hawala money as per the directive of the district treasurer.
