New executive committee in AMMA organization soon, says Suresh Gopi after talks with Mohanlal

KOCHI: Actor and MoS Suresh Gopi has said that the new executive committee of AMMA, an association of Malayalam film actors, will soon be formed. Suresh Gopi responded to the media that today he has started it and those responsible should come forward. Suresh Gopi reached AMMA’s office in Kochi and spoke to Mohanlal on the phone.

Suresh Gopi came to participate in the Keralapiravi day celebration and family gathering organized by AMMA. Suresh Gopi's reaction was when he came out after the inauguration. He added that he has told Mohanlal everything that needs to be said. After the Hema Committee Report controversies, AMMA organized a public program for the first time. Actors including Mammootty will participate.

At the same time, AMMA organization is still active. Actor Vinu Mohan responded that the day-to-day activities are going well. The deliberations and discussions regarding the new committee of the organization are in progress. Vinu said that a suitable decision will be taken soon.

As the entire elected committee has resigned, the ad-hoc committee is currently handling the temporary charge of the organization. After the release of the Hema Committee report, Siddique, who was the general secretary, was accused of sexual misconduct and Siddique resigned. Following this, office bearers including President Mohanlal resigned.
