BHOPAL: A pregnant woman was left to clean her husband's blood-stained hospital bed after he died from gunshot injuries in Lalpur Sani village, Madhya Pradesh. The incident began with a violent dispute over land, which escalated into gunfire on Thursday around 4:30 pm, leaving four people shot.

The victims include Shivraj, his father Daram Singh Marawi (65), his brother Raghuraj Marawi and Ramraj. Both Daram Singh and Raghuraj died at the scene, while Shivraj was rushed to Gadasarai Health Centre but succumbed to his injuries. His wife, Roshni, who is five months pregnant, had to clean the bed where he lay in his final moments. A video of Roshni cleaning the bed went viral, sparking outrage and prompting the health authorities to issue a show-cause notice to the hospital staff. However, Dr. Chandrasekhar Tekam, the attending physician, clarified to the media that Roshni was not instructed to clean the bed.
