THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan said that BJP state president K Surendran's claim that he is innocent in the Kodakara hawala case is completely false. "In the first investigation of the Kerala Police itself, it was clear that black money worth Rs 41.40 crore was brought to the state to sabotage the elections and it was K Surendran who suggested to bring the black money. It is surprising that the ED was still not ready to file a case in the black money deal. The ED, which runs after every allegation, has maintained complete silence in the Kodakara Hawala case. The state government was not ready to press for an investigation," Satheesan alleged.

The police were aware of the black money transaction of Rs 41.40 crore even before the revelation of Tirur Satheesh. The investigation became a farce as part of the conspiracy and unholy nexus between the CPM and the BJP. The CPM and the BJP worked as a mutual aid co-operative society.

Sobha Surendran's allegations are proof of how influential Pinarayi Vijayan is in the Kerala BJP. Sobha Surendran's allegation is that Pinarayi Vijayan is one of those who do not want her to be in politics. Sobha Surendran is making an indirect allegation that the BJP leadership in Kerala is trying to eliminate her politically in collusion with Pinarayi Vijayan. Satheesan pointed out that Sobha Surendran's words are proof of where the CPM-BJP alliance has reached.
