Inter-state fake note case accused Sanjay Varma arrested

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thampanoor police arrested Sanjay Varma of Tirunelveli and accused in inter-state fake note case. He was nabbed from a hotel in Kanyakumari early Sunday morning.

Several cases have been registered against Sanjay in Thampanoor, Kazhakoottam, Ernakulam and Thalassery police stations. There are fake currency cases against him in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. He was arrested by Thampanoor police in the case where he gave fake currency notes after staying at a hotel in Thampanoor and then received money from there through Google Pay.

He had cheated a taxi driver in Kazhakoottam by giving fake currencies. Police said that he had a habit of gambling. He has been arrested and brought to the station. Police said that more details will be known only through interrogation.
