Sarin extends hands, Shafi and Rahul refuse to greet him and walk away 

PALAKKAD: UDF candidate Rahul Mamkootathil and Shafi Parambil MP refused to give hands to LDF candidate Dr P Sarin, who came seeking votes at a marriage house. When Sarin extended his hands to them, the two walked away without paying attention. Though Sarin called Rahul and Shafi several times, the visuals of the two walking away without looking back have surfaced. This is being widely discussed on social media.

In Sarin's presence, Rahul Mamkootathil hugged Congress rebel leader A V Gopinath. Sarin responded to the media on the incident. Sarin said the people are watching everything. Meantime, Rahul said that he is not a hypocrite and that he finds it difficult to shake hands with him. Rahul clarified that everything he does is sincere and that it is difficult to show off in front of the channels.
