Along with the United States of America, the whole world is eager to know who will be the 47th President. Will Democratic candidate and Biden's deputy Kamala Harris be the first woman to hold the presidency or will Donald Trump return to the White House after the break?

Elections are underway for 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 33 seats in the 100-member Senate. The voting process will end before 7.30 am IST on Wednesday. The exit poll results will be out once the polling is over. The official result will be announced on January 6, 2025. There are a total of 17 crore voters. Of these, 7.5 crore have cast their votes in advance through ballot and e-mail.

Allan Lichtman has predicted who will be the next president of the United States. Allan Lichtman is notable for his predictions in the US presidential election. Lichtman said the opinion polls have no predictive value. As the survey results give republican Donald Trump a slight edge, Lichtman predicts that Kamala Harris will be elected president of the United States, making history.

"Kamala will win as the first female President of the United States and the first Asian-African-American to reach this position," he said in a response to NDTV. "The American people are voting more on the administration of the government than on campaigns," Lichtman said.
