Priyanka Gandhi responds to midnight search in Palakkad, condemns police act

PALAKKAD: Wayanad UDF candidate Priyanka Gandhi reacted to the midnight search in Palakkad. She said entering women’s room without women cops in the name of a search is not a right thing. Priyanka added that on what basis the police conducted such a search and she condemned the act. She told media that she will visit Wayanad again before the elections.

Meantime, Palakkad UDF candidate Rahul Mamkootathil said that he is accepting the challenge of CPM state secretary M V Govindan. Rahul said that he is ready for a lie detector test, but Minister M B Rajesh and A A Rahim should also be subjected for the same test. Govindan had alleged in the morning that Rahul is lying continuously and now he responded to it.
