Permanent venue for Kalpathy music festival will be made into reality: C Krishnakumar

PALAKKAD: NDA candidate C Krishnakumar said that the demand for a permanent venue for the Kalpathy music festival will be made into a reality. He was speaking to the media after attending the lag hoisting ceremony of the Kalpathi Ratholsavam.

"This demand was brought to the attention of Union Minister of State for Culture Suresh Gopi. A permanent venue can be arranged without much delay if the Palakkad Municipality prepares a plan. This demand will be one of my first priorities if I get elected as a member of the Legislative Assembly from Palakkad," Krishnakumar said.

"Everyone is aware of the changes that Kashi underwent once Narendra Modi came into power. Efforts will be made to rejuvenate the Kalpathy River through a project similar to the Namami Gange project. Will expand the Heritage Village project by preserving the tradition, heritage and values of Kalpathy," he said.
