CPM to take strong action against PP Divya, will remove her from all posts in party

KANNUR: CPM has decided to take strong action against PP Divya, who is remaining in jail in a case registered in connection with the death of ADM Naveen Babu. The Kannur district committee of the CPM has decided to remove Divya from all posts in the party. The party is of the opinion that there was a serious lapse on the part of Divya. The decision will be implemented as soon as it receives approval from the state committee.

If the state committee approves the decision of the district committee, Divya's role will be reduced to a branch committee member. Divya is currently housed at the Pallikkunnu Women's Jail. Meanwhile, sources close to Divya said that she will face the matter related to the ADM's death legally and prove her innocence.
