26-year-old woman dies after falling from train while traveling with parents

KOZHIKODE: A 26-year-old woman lost her life after falling from a train in an unfortunate accident near the Murad railway gate at around 6 am today. The deceased, identified as Jincy, daughter of Subrahmanyan from Chelampra, Malappuram, was traveling aboard the Executive Express, which was en route from Kannur to Alappuzha. She was returning home with her parents after visiting a friend in Kannur when the incident occurred.

Last Sunday in Kannur, a girl who tried to run into the train and was caught and fell between the platforms was rescued with minor injuries. A 19-year-old native of Iritti survived the accident. The CCTV footage of the incident was also released that day. The girl was traveling from Thalassery to Mangaluru.
