TEXAS: A 36-year-old woman rewrote her own Guinness record for donating breastmilk. Alyssa Ogletree of Texas, has attained a great achievement by donating 2,645.58 liters of breastmilk. As reported by the Guardian, in 2014, Alyssa was included in the Guinness World Records for donating 1,569.79 liters and has now surpassed her achievement.

According to Mother’s Milk Bank of North Texas, one liter of breastmilk can sustain 11 premature babies. According to this calculation, her donations to the organization have

helped over 350,000 babies. Alyssa told media that she has a big heart and a family that supports her to do everything.

Alyssa started donating breast milk in 2010 when she gave birth to her first son, Kyle. The woman said that after giving birth to her baby, she realized that her body was producing a large amount of milk. A nurse advised her to donate to help mothers struggling to feed their babies.

Alyssa continued to donate milk following the birth of her two younger sons, Kage (12) and Kory (seven). After the babies stopped drinking milk from the bottle, she pumped milk and froze it. She took it to the milk bank, where they would measure the frozen milk on a specially calibrated scale. She had no health issues and drank lots of water all the time. Alyssa clarified that she ate healthy food.
