'Russia laughing at us': Melania's nude pictures aired on TV channel after Donald Trump's victory

After writer Julia Davis shared a video of the incident on X, there was a lot of criticism against the channel.

Julia Davis posted video of the broadcast alongside the caption: "Meanwhile in Russia: this is how the most watched state TV channel in the country welcomed Melania Trump's upcoming return to the White House. Olga Skabeeva is trying not to laugh. This was probably her idea." The images on the cover of GQ magazine were displayed. Explanations about the pictures are also given. A picture of Melania wearing a negligee was shared.

The channel has been criticised for making fun of Donald Trump and his wife. There are comments that their action is shocking. Melania had earlier defended naked modelling, saying, "Can't we appreciate the beauty of the human body anymore? Throughout history, master artists have respected the human form, arousing deep feelings and admiration," she said. Melania had opined that we should respect our bodies and adopt the timeless tradition of using art as a powerful way of expressing ourselves.
