People of Wayanad have secured a big place in my heart: Rahul Gandhi

KALPETTA: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the unblemished love shown by the people of Wayanad changed his political perspective. He was speaking at a roadshow in Sultan Bathery in Wayanad as part of Priyanka Gandhi's election campaign.

Rahul Gandhi arrived wearing a t-shirt which read 'I Love You Wayanad.' He began his speech by talking about his love for both Wayanad and his sister. The crowd went berserk as he said, "I am giving my little sister to Wayanad."

"I began using the word 'love' in politics after coming to Wayanad. I realized that love is the only way to conquer hatred and anger. That's why I'm wearing this 'Love' t-shirt. People of Wayanad have secured a big place in my heart, beyond politics," Rahul Gandhi said.
