ZHUHAI: 35 people were killed and 43 injured after a car rammed into a crowd of people exercising at a stadium in Zhuhai, China. It is alleged a 62-year-old, surnamed Fan, drove an SUV through a barrier and into Zhuhai Sports Centre. Local police described it as a "serious and vicious attack". Chinese media reported that elderly people, teenagers and children were among the injured.
Fan is in a coma due to injuries. The city was in a state of heightened security, for major civil and military airshow, when the incident happened. According to initial investigations by the police, Fan’s divorce was finalized and he was triggered by the outcome of the property settlement following his divorce.
