'My parents were blamed in the name of incidents that happened in my life, my entire family suffered for 14 years'; Amrutha Suresh opens up

Singer Amrutha Suresh has opened up about her marital life and the events that unfolded after that. She said that many people had blamed her family for the things that happened in her life. Amrutha said that she’s still unsure whether she has fully overcome the traumas she faced after the marriage. Amrutha was speaking in a vlog on the YouTube channel Amrutham Gamaya along with her sister Abhirami Suresh. The two sisters also responded to questions from fans.

"It was my father and mother who faced the blame in the name of the incidents that happened in my life. Some even said that my parents didn't raise me well. My family suffered for 14 years because of me. There is no point in blaming anyone for that. Everything you’ve said is based on what you’ve understood on your own. Moreover, I was also silent about it over the years. Anyway, my family is relieved that you all have understood the truth now, Amrutha said.

"People do make mistakes. It is quite natural. Many of you might have made a lot of mistakes in your lives. Sometimes, it might not be as stupid as the ones I've committed. I'm still unsure whether I have fully overcome the traumas I faced following my marriage. As I have a daughter, I don't have the option to remain traumatised. Being a single mom kept me active. Without my child, I'd have collapsed. I want to work for Pappu. I want to remain happy and healthy. I want to move on with my life, no matter what comes my way," Amrutha added.
