PALAKKAD: "I haven't completed writing my autobiography. I haven't assigned anyone to publish it. Both DC Books and Mathrubhumi had approached me. However, I haven't given the contract to anyone," EP Jayarajan said during the press conference held in Palakkad.
"I haven't hired anyone to write my autobiography. I only entrusted a trusted journalist to edit the work for language refinement. I have no doubts about him at this stage. However, I have directed him to check whether any part was leaked from his hands or if any part has gone missing," Jayarajan said.
"I haven't assigned anyone to publish the book. The book will be released soon. Everyone will realise the truth then. A conspiracy had taken place behind the controversy. I have lodged a complaint with the DGP regarding the matter. I haven't named my autobiography 'Kattanchayayum Parippuvadayum.' How can I use such a name that is used by some people to ridicule me? I have not fixed a name yet. I will seek the permission of the party before publishing my autobiography," he said.
Conspiracy had taken place
"I have not written the things that have surfaced on visual media. I'm sure that a conspiracy had taken place to release such content on the day of the election. This was done to destroy the upper hand that the LDF has in Palakkad and Chelakkara," Jayarajan said.
DC Books should give an explanation
"I have not signed any contract with DC Books. I came to know about the matter through the media. I contacted DC Books immediately after learning about the matter. However, they have not given me a proper reply. How am I responsible for the things posted by someone else on social media? DC should give an explanation. That's why I have sent them a legal notice," he added.
