ARMENIA: The Gershom Foundation has announced the 2024 Gershom International Awards. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held at the Best Western Plus Congress Hotel in the Armenian capital, Yerevan, at 6.30 pm on the 16th.
The 2024 Gershom Awards are awarded to: Santosh Kumar (UAE), Ravindra Nath (Haryana, India), Dhanesh Narayanan (Armenia) and Shiny Frank (Kuwait).
The Malayalee Association for the UK (MAUK) in London has won the award for the best Malayalee organization. Armenian Parliamentarian Lilith Stafanian and Member of Parliament of India Sagar Khandhera will be the chief guests at the award ceremony to be held tomorrow.
The Garshom Awards were instituted by the Bangalore-based Gershom Foundation in 2002 to honour Malayalees who have achieved success in life outside Kerala through their own efforts and raised the prestige of Malayalees. So far, 94 non-resident Malayalees and 17 non-resident Malayalee organisations have been honoured with Gershom awards. In previous years, various cities in Japan, Norway, Malaysia, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE and India have become host for the Gershom Awards ceremony.
