Two killed in bike accident in Kochi

KOCHI: A woman and a youth were killed in a bike accident. The accident happened at around 1 am Monday morning on top of the Mathur bridge in Tripunithura. The dead have been identified as Nivedita (21), a native of Kadoor, Meppadi in Wayanad, and Subin (19) of Velichikkala in Kollam. The accident occurred when the bike they were riding hit the handrail of the bridge. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives after legal procedures.
