'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale', the documentary now streaming on Netflix has turned into a talking matter in the cine world. In the last two days, dozens of articles have reached people elucidating the feud between the actress and Dhanush. Now, more sneak peeks from the documentary have started appearing on news portals. One such revelation made by the actress from her documentary has already made it into the top headlines in the South Cine industry.
Nayanthara:
“The shooting of the ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ movie in 2011 was very emotional. I can still feel the anguish I went through during the final days of the shooting. By that time I had already decided to bid adieu to the film industry. I was more or less sure that ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ would be my last film.
It felt terrible to leave a profession that I loved and a career that was just brimming up. I cried a lot. The decision to quit was not mine but it was as per the request I got from that person in the industry with whom I had a good relationship during those times.”
Nayanthara’s relationship with actor-choreographer Prabhudeva served as a good yarn for the media during the early days of the 2010s. Even during those times, Nayanthara had revealed that it was Prabhudeva who insisted she quit from movies. The whole hullabaloo of Prabhudeva’s wife approaching court over his extramarital relationship with the actress still lingers in many minds. However, Nayanthara’s relationship with the actor soon hit a roadblock and she took a sabbatical from movies. It was only later in 2013, that Nayans returned to the industry with ‘Raja Rani’.
