PATHANAMTHITTA: The inquiry team appointed by the Kerala University of Health Sciences has collected evidence on the incident where Ammu Sajeev, a student of the Chuttippara Nursing College, died after falling from the top of her hostel building. Four officials from the university arrived at the college yesterday as per the instructions of Health Minister Veena George. The team visited Ammu's classroom and hostel. The principal handed over the documents regarding the action taken by the college on the complaint lodged by Ammu's father two weeks ago.
The investigation team collected information from the principal and teachers. The principal informed that issues between Ammu and her classmates were resolved in the presence of the teachers after summoning both sides on the basis of the complaint received about the mental and physical torture suffered by Ammu.
Meanwhile, the police recorded the statements of the three accused girls in the incident. The police are also looking into their phone details. Ammu's father had demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident. He alleged in his complaint that Ammu committed suicide due to the problems she had with her three classmates.
