Antony visits temple, doesn't want Keerthy to convert, says actress’ father Suresh Kumar 

South Indian actress Keerthy Suresh (32) is all set to marry her longtime friend of 15 years. The news of the actress’ marriage with businessman Antony Thattil, broke out yesterday.

Antony of Kochi, is a businessman in Doha. Keerthy's father and producer G Suresh Kumar and mother Menaka, an actress have agreed to their relationship. Her father said the two have been friends since Class 12. The wedding will be in Goa on December 11. Her engagement will be on November 25.

There was a concern whether two religious beliefs would be an obstacle to the marriage. Everything turned optimistic after talks were held between Antony and Suresh Kumar. Antony, who visits temples does not want Keerthy, to change her religion. The marriage will not be a religious ceremony. If there is, both religions will be given importance.

Keerthy had hinted about love in a recent interview. When asked if she was in love, she replied that she had not said that she is single. She did not reveal the name of her hero. Antony and Keerthy had planned to get married in Thailand. Goa was chosen after respecting the opinion of both parents. Suresh Kumar is also a member of the BJP state committee.

Keerthy's debut film in Malayalam was Geethanjali. She quickly became a star in Tamil and Telugu. Her film Mahanati with Dulquer Salmaan, was a turning point. The role portraying the tragic life of the famous actress Savitri, won her the national award for best actress. Keerthy is making her Bollywood debut with Varun Dhawan in Baby John, a remake of Vijay's 'Theri'.

Her happiness is all that we want. Antony has resolved our concerns. The marriage is with everyone's consent and blessings, said her father G Suresh Kumar.
