Cop dies after bike collides with car carrying Ayyappa devotees

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A police officer died in an accident after his bike collided with a car. The cop has been identified as Sreejith of Kanjiramkulam. His bike collided with the car carrying Ayyappa devotees while he was returning after work. The incident happened Thursday early morning at 4 am. Sreejith was Civil Police Officer (CPO) of Thiruvallam police station.


The body is kept in the hospital. It will be handed over to his family after postmortem. Sreejith joined the service in 2012.
