THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The actress said that she is withdrawing the complaints of sexual allegations filed against actors including MLA Mukesh. The complainant said as she is not getting any support from the government, she will write a letter to the special investigation team to withdraw the cases. The actress clarified that the government was not ready to prove the truth of the POCSO case filed against her.
The actress of Aluva levelled sexual allegations against seven people including actor Mukesh. The police had registered a POCSO case against this actress on the complaint of a woman, who is her relative. The complaint against the actress was that she was taken to Chennai when she was 16 years old on the pretext of an audition and tried to hand her over to many others. Based on the complaint, the Muvattupuzha police had registered a case against the actress under the POCSO Act. The actress is now alleging that the government was not ready to prove the truth in this case.
The actress alleged that the POCSO case against her was fabricated and that the government did not try to prove its truth. The POCSO case is a revenge act for filing a complaint against actors including Mukesh. She did not receive support from the government and the media. The actress explained that she is withdrawing from the cases as she is fed up with it.
It is reported that the actress has not officially contacted the investigation team to withdraw the case. The actress also announced that she will soon send a letter to Poonguzhali IPS, leading the special investigation team, via e-mail.
