Dubai to close key roads for Dubai run challenge on November 24; Alternative routes available

DUBAI: The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has issued an advisory to expatriates and residents in the UAE, announcing road closures in Dubai on Sunday, November 24, due to the Dubai Run Challenge. The closures will take place from 3:30 AM to 10:30 AM to facilitate the event.

Roads affected by the closure

• Sheikh Zayed Road (between the Trade Center Roundabout and the second bridge)
• Al Sukook Street (between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Bursa Street)
• Lower Financial Center Road (between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road)
• One-way traffic on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard

Alternative routes

• Financial Center Road (above)
• Zabeel Palace Street
• Al Mustaqbal Road
• Al Wasl Road
• Al Khail Road
• Al Badah Street

Authorities urge motorists to plan their travel in advance and use the designated alternative routes to avoid delays during the closure.
