After backlash, 'Marco' team chooses KGF singer over rapper Dabzee

The makers of the upcoming movie ‘MARCO’ decided to replace the singer of their newest song after facing heavy public backlash. The new single from the movie titled ‘Blood’ sung by Dabzee was released last day but faced a lot of flak for the coarse voice and the annoying sound mixing. Many even criticized Dabzee’s vocals as incongruous. With many such comments coming for the video, the makers decided on a course correction.

The makers decided to rope in KGF singer Santhosh Venky to sing the song instead. As per reports, Santhosh had recorded the song earlier, so it required no effort for the makers to release the song with the new singer within a day after the backlash.

The music for the film is done by KGF fame Ravi Basrur. ‘Marco’ directed by Haneef Adeni and starring Unni Mukundan is gearing up for its release. Amidst this, there is also criticism from some quarters over the team's decision to replace Dazee’s version. Many termed it unprofessional to publicise such news which would be nonetheless humiliating for the singer.
